My name is Christelle and I live in Adelaide with my two beautiful daughters. By day time I am a nurse but my true passion is creating jewellery and playing with flowers.
I grew up in rural South Australia and I loved being outdoors and getting my hands dirty. I was very fortunate to have many people in my life growing up who were avid gardeners and I got to admire and be surrounded by lots of beautiful flowers. This is where the passion started.

What makes your products unique? 🤔
Christelle Marie Designs is a collection of botanical earrings created to connect you to nature. These earrings are all handmade by me in my home studio in Adelaide. The majority of the flowers you see are grown my garden or sourced locally, then pressed and dried before being encapsulated in the resin.
The colours and combinations of flowers and the shapes of the resin pieces are carefully chosen to create a soft, pretty, minimal look in her signature colours and style. My aesthetic is about simple designs to let the beautiful details of Mother Nature shine through.
My pieces are designed to make beautiful statement pieces to wear or unique gifts to give.
What was the inspiration behind launching your business? ✨
I was needing a creative outlet and was interested in creating jewellery. I had been playing around with different mediums but when I discovered the combination of dried flowers and crystal clear resin, I knew I was onto something good.
My love for flowers and gardening allowed me to create something beautiful while combining my passions.
What does a typical day look like for you? ⏰
When I’m not working at my day job my spare time is dedicated to working on my business.
My days can vary greatly from growing or sourcing flowers, to pressing and drying the flowers. It can also include making moulds, mixing resin and creating flower pieces as well as assembling the jewellery.
The other, but far less glamorous side of running a business involves lots of administrative tasks and sitting in front of a computer. The creative side is the side I much prefer doing.

- Choose something you love doing and feels authentically you. Don’t worry what others around you are doing. Stay in your own lane and run your own race
